The inaugural season of Chatfield girls lacrosse was 2007, with Varsity and JV teams. A Level 3 team was added in the 2009 season.
Adam Everett was the program head coach and varsity coach from inception through 2015. Under Coach Everett the Lady Chargers made five straight playoff appearances including a regional championship and semifinal appearance in 2014. They had back-to-back Jeffco league championships, with undefeated league records in 2013 and 2014 (and an undefeated regular season in 2014). Over his career Coach Everett compiled a 88-54-1 overall record. His program had nine alumni go on to play NCAA lacrosse, and produced one All-American, two All-State selections, and 20 First-Team All-Conference players (plus seven Second-Team All-Conference players and five Honorable Mention honorees). In addition 25 Academic All-Americans have come from the program to date, and the varsity team had the highest unweighted GPA (3.94) of all girls lacrosse teams in Colorado in the 2014 season.
